It's been 3 days since Xander gave away Toodles and Slightly. It was rough at first but Xander is being strong. He firmly believes that God said so and this is what's best for the "Lost Boys". We once again thank the Kincaids for opening their home and sharing their love with the hounds. We are one step closer to Africa... Now all we need is the money, come on God! We have faith.

Goodbye Toodles and Slightly
Two years ago Xander adopted two Beagle-Basset hound mixes. Our friends the Womacks rescued them from the street and Xander appropriately name them after the "lost boys" in Peter Pan. "Toodles" and "Slightly" were not the easiest hounds to deal with at first but soon the three became inseparable. Because we cannot bring the hounds to africa, Xander has had to find a new home for them. We are grateful to the Kincaid family for taking them. We thought you would enjoy some pictures of Xander and his buddies before they go to their new family next week. We know Xander will miss them but we also know that God sees Xander's sacrifice.

We would like to thank everyone who came and participated in the Clarks 2 Africa Variety Show. Your kindness contributed toward the process of our family going to Uganda and serving in the New Creation Children’s Home.
Uganda is a country of over 36 million people. Due to AIDS, poverty, war, and a failed rebellion in the north the adults are almost all gone. Almost 50% of the population is under 14 years-old. Of those children 2.7 million of them are orphans. We are going as a family to be a family for some of these children. You have helped in this cause. Thank you.
Our fundraising event was quite successful. With over 17 acts performing, a feature on CBS 19 news, and 13 donors, we were able to raise over $2,000. These proceeds will go towards airfare to fly our family of seven overseas.
Thanks to everyone for the investment toward the future of our family. We continue to raise funds and awareness of the needs in Uganda. If you have any opportunity to join us in our calling please don’t hesitate to let us know.
Once again, we thank you for your generous support!

April 25 at Tyler Christian Fellowship we are having a East Texas Talent Variety Show to raise funds for our family to go help children in Uganda! Talent is being lined up as I post, plus we will have a silent auction on some really awesome stuff. If you have a talent you would like to perform we have a stage for you. If you have goods or services you would like to donate for auction, we'll take it.
Don't think you'll be in the East Texas area on April 25? Go to gofundme.com/ clarks-2-africa to help anyway.
